"Sharing the Gifts of Darkness and Light" Holiday service was facilitated by Rev. Dr. Sushmita Mukherjee and Rev. Garrett Foster, One Spirit Deans.

Against the backdrop of the John O’Donohue poem “For Light” and the award-winning music of One Spirit’s own Jim Walker, we will explore the interplay and interconnectedness of darkness and light through the lens of five faith traditions: a Hindu Vedic chant, a Sufi invocation, Mystical Christianity, Kwaanza and a Chanukah candle-lighting ritual. We celebrated the sparks of light that emerge from the womb of darkness during the holiday season.
