Where seeing becomes sensing becomes saying. Forever becoming. Forever unfinished.
On Seeing
Some images arrive before the mind does. They catch something in you that your words haven't found yet. This is that kind of gallery. Stay as long as you need. Let one image find you. Open it. Sit with it. Resist the temptation to explain what it means โ at least for now. The meaning, if it comes, will come on its own terms.
Among these images are some made with scientific instruments โ a confocal microscope, a camera trained on living tissue. They are included not as data but as encounters. Look at them the way you would look at anything else here: before you know what they are.
“The gift of an image is that it provides a place to watch your soul.”
~ James Hillman
