Between Winter and Spring: The Marys’ Vigil (on zoom, hosted by KaleidoSoul.com)

Registration for the series

This offering is part of a 6-month journey with the book: This Is Woman’s Work: Calling Forth Your Inner Council of Wise, Brave, Crazy, Rebellious, Loving, Luminous Selves by Dominique Christina. I will be teaching with six other fabulous women who are all SoulCollage® teachers. My offering falls on Easter Saturday, 2026. The workshop series is hosted by Anne Marie Bennett and her organization, KaleidoSoul.

Every spiritual tradition has ways of marking liminal times—the pause between death and rebirth, ending and beginning. In this workshop, we will use the Easter story as a portal into an experiential encounter with the sacred in-between, exploring it through the eyes of three women who embody timeless feminine archetypes: the three Marys.

While other disciples scattered, three women remained. Mary the mother, the Wombed Woman, holds her grief with the same hands that once cradled new life. Mary Magdalene, the Bone Woman, arrives first to the tomb in pre-dawn darkness—knowing how to gather what others abandon, singing life back into dry bones, unafraid of death’s threshold. Mary of Clopas, the Journey Woman, walks the path to the tomb even when the destination seems hopeless, her pilgrimage itself an act of faith. Together they embody wisdom that transcends tradition—the knowing of how to wait in the dark, trusting without demanding rebirth.

April knows this place. Earth is still cool, buds tight on branches, everything poised but not yet blooming. This workshop will invite us into an experience of this patient waiting at whatever threshold life is offering each of us.
